I began the YouTube channel

Girl On Film so that I could have a space to discuss the big, complex, messy ideas present in cinema. On the channel I talk horror, femininity, costume design and film theory.  
 

With no prior public presence, I've built a recognisable brand and cultivated a wonderful community, with 80k subscribers and 150k+ monthly views.
